What is Laser Therapy?

Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating conditions.

  • Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates intercellular activity. This reduces pain in the area and speeds recovery of the damaged cells. Once the cells recover, the healing process is complete.

  • MLS Laser Therapy is a painless treatment that lasts an average of 3 minutes. Your pet may experience a comfortable sensation at the point of application.

  • Most patients see positive results in one to three treatments, Acute conditions can subside with as few as one set of treatments. Chronic conditions can be managed with regular monthly treatments. And there are no known negative side effects.

Often pain medication can be reduced or eliminated after MLS Laser Therapy treatment.

Benefits of Laser Therapy

Our animal hospital offers integrative non-invasive therapy for reduction of pain and inflammation for a variety of conditions with our therapeutic Class IV Cutting Edge cold laser. Laser therapy works by using different specific wavelengths of light to stimulate regeneration, healing, and delivery of nutrients to the area where it is applied. This can benefit pets with:

  • Chronic arthritis

  • Skin inflammation and hot spots

  • Muscle and joint sprains

  • Intervertebral disc disease

  • Ligament tears

  • Postoperative healing

Our specially trained staff and veterinarians can work with you and your pet to create and adjust individualized treatment plans to best address your pet's needs.

Please ask your veterinarian for details on how this innovative therapy can work for your pet’s pain and inflammation.

Your pet will THANK YOU. We are proud to offer MLS Laser Therapy as an effective, proven, pain-free treatment option for our clients who want to ease their pet’s pain and inflammation. We also have different veterinary services such as emergency vetpet boarding, and surgery.
